“Rome wasn't Built in a Day and neither was your Brand Image”
Stay Consistent with PostPilot - Your AI Social Media Copilot
Getting Started
Create your account, set up your organization, and generate your first content.
Overview
Welcome to PostPilot, the AI-powered social media management platform that helps you create, schedule, and publish compelling content across every major social network. This guide walks you through the entire onboarding process, from creating your account to generating your first batch of AI-crafted posts.
PostPilot uses advanced AI models including Google Gemini for copy generation, Google Imagen for image creation, and real-time sentiment analysis to ensure your content resonates with current trends. The setup process takes about five minutes and requires no technical knowledge.
By the end of this guide you will have a fully configured organization with a generated brand profile, connected social platforms, and a first set of posts ready for review.
Create Your Account
Creating a PostPilot account is straightforward. You can sign up with your email address and a secure password, or use an existing Google account for one-click authentication.
Visit the Sign-Up Page
Navigate to postpilot.app/signup in your browser. You will see the registration form with fields for your full name, email address, and password.
If you already have an account, click the “Log in” link at the bottom of the form to go to the login page instead.
Enter Your Details
Fill in your full name, a valid email address, and a password with at least eight characters. PostPilot enforces strong password requirements including a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and numbers.
Alternatively, click the “Continue with Google” button to authenticate using your Google account. This skips the password step entirely and links your Google profile automatically.
Verify Your Email
After submitting the form, check your inbox for a verification email from PostPilot. Click the confirmation link to activate your account. The link expires after 24 hours.
Once verified, you will be redirected to the dashboard where you can begin setting up your first organization.
Create an Organization
Organizations are the core unit in PostPilot. Each organization represents a brand, business, or project you want to manage social media for. You can create multiple organizations under a single account.
Click Create Organization
From the dashboard, click the “Create Organization” button in the top right corner or the prominent call-to-action card if this is your first organization. This opens the onboarding form.
Fill In Organization Details
Enter your organization name, a short description of what your brand does, and select your industry from the dropdown. The description and industry selection are important because PostPilot uses them to calibrate the AI's tone, vocabulary, and content strategy.
For example, a fitness brand might select “Health & Wellness” as the industry and describe itself as “A boutique gym focused on strength training and community.” The more specific your description, the better the AI-generated content will match your voice.
Review and Confirm
Review the details on the confirmation screen. You can go back and edit any field before finalizing. Once you click “Create,” PostPilot provisions your organization and redirects you to the organization dashboard.
Select Platforms
PostPilot supports five major social platforms: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter (X), and TikTok. During onboarding you select which platforms your organization will publish to. This determines the content formats the AI generates and the platform-specific optimizations applied to each post.
To connect a platform, click its icon in the platform selector grid. A checkmark appears to confirm the selection. You can select as many platforms as you like. Each platform connection uses OAuth, so you will be redirected to the platform's authorization page to grant PostPilot publishing permissions.
Once connected, PostPilot tailors generated captions and image aspect ratios to each platform's best practices. For instance, LinkedIn posts lean toward professional language and longer captions, while TikTok content is snappier and trend-aware.
Brand Profile Generation
After you complete the organization setup and platform selection, PostPilot automatically generates a brand profile using AI. The brand profile is a structured representation of your brand's voice, values, target audience, and content pillars. It serves as the foundation for all future content generation.
The AI analyzes your organization name, description, industry, and connected platforms to produce a profile that includes your brand tone (e.g., professional, playful, authoritative), primary topics, audience demographics, and suggested content themes. This process takes just a few seconds.
You can review and refine the generated brand profile from the organization settings page at any time. Adjusting the profile directly influences the style and substance of every piece of AI-generated content going forward.
Your First Content
With your organization configured and your brand profile generated, you are ready to create your first batch of AI-powered posts. Navigate to your organization dashboard and click the “Generate Content” button to kick off the content pipeline.
PostPilot's content pipeline runs sentiment analysis on current trends, generates platform-optimized captions using Google Gemini, and creates matching images with Google Imagen. The entire process typically completes in under a minute and produces a set of posts tailored to each of your connected platforms.
Once generation finishes, your new posts appear on the organization dashboard as editable post cards. From here you can review each post, make edits in the post editor, schedule publication times, or publish immediately. Check out the Content Generation and Post Editor guides for deeper coverage of these features.
