Stay Consistent with PostPilot - Your AI Social Media Copilot
Organization Settings
Configure your brand, platforms, social connections, and research preferences.
Overview
The Organization Settings page is your central hub for configuring how PostPilot operates for your brand. From here, you can update your brand identity, manage platform preferences, connect social media accounts, invite team members, and fine-tune the AI research engine that powers your content generation.
Only organization owners and members with admin roles can access the settings page. Changes made here affect the entire organization, including all team members and their generated content. The settings page is accessible from the organization sidebar by clicking the gear icon or navigating to the Settings tab.
This guide covers each settings section in detail, walking you through the available options and best practices for configuring your organization to get the most out of PostPilot's features.
Brand Information
The Brand Information section captures the core identity of your organization. These details are used by the AI content generation engine to produce posts that align with your brand voice, industry context, and target audience. Keeping this information accurate and up to date ensures that generated content consistently reflects your brand.

Platform Configuration
Platform configuration allows you to specify which social media platforms your organization targets and how content should be optimized for each one. PostPilot supports multiple platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, each with its own content requirements and best practices.
For each enabled platform, you can configure posting preferences such as default posting times, preferred content formats, and character count targets. These preferences guide the AI when generating platform-specific versions of your content, ensuring each post is optimized for its intended platform.

Configure posting preferences
Platform configuration also includes content format preferences. For example, you might prefer carousel posts on Instagram, thread-style content on Twitter, and professional long-form updates on LinkedIn. These preferences are respected during AI content generation, producing draft content that matches your preferred format for each channel.
Team Management
The Team Management section provides a shortcut to your organization's team settings, where you can invite new members, manage roles, and remove access for departing team members. PostPilot supports role-based access control with three roles: Owner, Admin, and Member.
Owners have full control over the organization, including billing and deletion. Admins can manage settings, connections, and team members but cannot delete the organization. Members can create and edit content but cannot modify organization settings or manage team access. This role hierarchy ensures that sensitive operations are restricted to authorized personnel.
To invite a new team member, enter their email address and select a role. They will receive an invitation email with a link to join the organization. Pending invitations are listed in the team settings and can be revoked at any time before acceptance. Once a member joins, their role can be changed by any Owner or Admin.
Research Settings
Research Settings control how PostPilot's AI gathers and processes external data to inform content generation. The research engine pulls data from multiple sources including real-time sentiment analysis, news aggregation, and trend monitoring to ensure your generated content is timely, relevant, and aligned with current conversations in your industry.
Social Connections
The Social Connections section manages the OAuth connections between PostPilot and your social media accounts. These connections are required for publishing posts directly to platforms and for pulling analytics data. Each connection uses secure OAuth 2.0 authentication, meaning PostPilot never stores your social media passwords.
